Our team detected issues on one of the nodes in the cloud 29/12/2025@7:53CET.

Issues started for some customers and presented as non-responsive disk while the networking and CPU are working.

During the whole resolution time the issue presented on various virtual machines until it got pinpointed to kernel bug.

The issue is in a Linux kernel bug on the node resulting in discard issuance failure.

This issue prevents recovery migration so it is impossible to continue running as-is for maintenance.

Node restart with kernel replacement resolved the problems.
